Morgan County is located in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle,
less than 100 miles northwest of Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area and 150 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
It is the westernmost of the three counties in the Eastern Panhandle, which includes Berkeley and Jefferson counties of which forms a wedge between Maryland to the north and Virginia to the south.
There are two incorporated municipalities, the Town of Bath, which is included in the larger area of Berkeley Springs, and the Town of Paw Paw.
